Cayucos Eyeworks is a full scope optometry office providing eye health exams and vision care services for all ages.
Visits are unhurried and the doctor will personally provide your entire exam from beginning to end. Our goal in vision care is to provide clear and comfortable solutions for our patient's visual needs. We provide eyewear from basic to high fashion and vintage to classics. And lately....digital, high index, Transitions, anti-reflective, and progressive lens options have become the new standards. Our on-site lab helps speed the processing of eyeglass orders.
We provide contact lens services to both beginners and longtime wearers and supply soft, rigid, toric, multifocal and tinted contact lenses with competitive pricing. The health portion of the exam is just as important for those without symptoms as for those with a history of ocular health concerns.
Our office provides dilated fundus(retinal) exams, visual field testing, retinal photography, and intraocular pressure measurements, which can help diagnose eye disease and help manage its progression. We treat eye infections, allergies, injuries, and glaucoma. We co-manage lasik, cataracts, and macular degeneration patients with many of the county's ophthalmologists and provide low vision services and devices to the partially sighted.
Facilities and Equipment
Our office is not large so we use our space efficiently. One half of the office contains the dispensary and business office, and the other half is the exam room. The exam room is a mixture of the traditional exam equipment plus 3 different perimeters, an autorefractor - keratometer, and our new state of the art Canon Retinal Camera. We have an optical finishing lab in another building on the property. Our building is on the main street in town a short block to the beach and a quarter mile south of the pier. The Cayucos pharmacy is conveniently located next door.
